SPRING FLORAL DESIGN

Celebrate the arrival of spring using farm-fresh, American-grown spring flowers and flowering branches.  This class is geared toward flower enthusiasts, someone who wants to learn how to design with flowers from their yards, the farmer's market or a Mossflower bouquet. You'll learn about the key elements of design: color, form, space and texture.

Guiding you through the workshop is Helen Skiba, owner of Farmette Flowers, which over the last 5 seasons provided fresh cut flowers and nature-inspired designs for hundreds of wedding couples. Helen is a Colorado native, with an undergraduate degree in English Literature and a Master of Agriculture from CSU. She completed her master’s thesis in combination with her work in the Peace Corps in Ecuadorian Amazon, specializing in food security & sustainable agriculture. Helen has a passion for intricate color and texture in her designs, which she honed at Floret Flowers, one of the nation’s leading farmer-florists.

Included in the Price. Seasonal, fresh American-grown flowers and flowering branches. One complimentary Infinite Monkey Theorem glass of wine, workshop instruction, all materials required for the class, small bites from Mondo Market and a floral arrangement in a stylish vase ($65 value) designed by you.
